I have stumbled upon your site by accident and what I want to say is your life and your family have touched me so deeply on this day! I grew up listening to your children, and I grew up in a sexually and physically abusive house hold and I found so much comfort in the song 'A Dream' from the In a Special Way album. I recorded the song from my lp onto a cassette tape and looped it during some of the roughest times in my life. I would play it on repeat as I fell asleep. I had one friend at church he was a short stubby little boy, half white and half black. He loved me enough to wash away everything when I was in his pressence, and when I had to hang up with him or go home from him over the years that song gave me comfort in place of his. He and I are married and have been together now since then soon to be 25 years, and your web site has given me that same sense of peace and comfort renewed in is absence now. Thank You...Mama D I only wish I could have had a loving and supportive mother like you and I only pray I can be a loving Grandmother that my grandchildren will adore. Thank You giving me peace, you and your family. I will follow your site from this day forward.

Happy New Year! Yes Jesus is the best thing that could happen to anyone! He sure is the best thing that happened to me over 10 years ago. Im now 38 and Jesus has never failed me yet. I so admire you mama Debarge for your strength and faith in all that youi have gone through. My boys are still teens and I know that even though Ive trained them up in the way thatt they should go, they may stray. If I have to go through I know that all will be fine with Jesus on my side and with the encouraging words of mama Debarge! I love your faith and strength in God! I'm praying for your family also!
